Rules & Regulations : 
1. Entry fees are non-refundable.
2. Film Duration : Upto 30 minutes
3. The film can be of any language or of any genre. All non-English films must have English subtitles. 
4. YouTube, Google Drive & Vimeo links are accepted. Make sure that the links are not password protected and don't delete the uploads till the date of award announcement of VISFF 2023. 
5. The decision of the festival committee and jury members will be considered final.
6. All information will be shared on VISFF Facebook page, and an attempt will be made to contact by mail/Whatsapp.
7. A director or production company may enter more than one category for a short film and may submit more than one film, provided a separate Entry Form and separate Entry Fee accompanies each category and film. The entry form must clearly mark the section/category entered for.
8. Selection of Films for VISFF will be done by a panel of committee whose decision will be final. However, Festival authorities reserve the right to accept or reject any film that is likely to offend sentiments, feelings or sensibilities of any caste, community, religion and section and is likely to promote racism or ill will in the society and for any circumstances festival committee will not be answerable for such decision to any person(s), or company or organisation.
9. Entrant agrees to be bound by all terms of these official festival rules and regulations as established herein. Vanguard International Short Film Festival reserves the right to extend the Festival deadline for any unforeseen reasons if needed. Entry constitutes permission to use winner’s names, likeness and voice for future advertising and publicity purposes without any objection and claim.
10. Please fill up the Form properly. The entry will not be accepted without proper filled up the Declaration Portion.
11. Entry forms with incorrect/inadequate/illegible/ambiguous particulars will not be considered. The festival committee reserves the right to accept or refuse any film without assigning any reason whatsoever.
12. Only officially selected films will be intimated by email. No letters of non-acceptance will be sent. All lists will be available on the Facebook page.  
13. Entry Forms should be filled in clearly. Press materials i.e. synopsis (60 words), cast, credit, directors filmography etc. can be sent in separate word file format by email. 
14. Entrants will retain all ownership rights to their films submitted.

16. Foreign Short Films will only be accepted through FILMFREEWAY.
